Along side the expo the knowledge-based conference organised on the first day, provided wider insights into each of the aspects that help shape the future. These knowledge sharing sessions are one of the biggest highlights of the show.

Making the Key-note address, Dr V.K. Saraswat, Member, NITI Aayog said, “We all are striving towards creating a system that is both innovative and workable. The government has put pioneering policies in place to integrate key mobility. We must constantly think towards creating multiple options for sustainability since the main objective is to stop the emission of green-house gasses and make transport more environment-friendly.”

On Day one some of the most interesting and engaging topics touched upon include EV charging infra, roundtable discussion on the effective collaboration between the government, infrastructure developers and technology providers for highways and urban projects and on logistics infrastructure.

Summing up on the take way of the roundtable, J.K. Goyal, Senior Principal Scientist-Bridges and Structures Division, CSIR-CRRI, said, “This conference has brought together various specialists on a common platform with regards to road construction and maintenance. It has provided a great impetus to the new technologies which are implementable in India on road safety, smart mobility and public utility. The conference has also brought about a paradigm shift the thinking of the industry, the government set up and the private sector.”
