Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, Dwarka, New Delhi Entry from Hall No – 1 A & B

Yashobhoomi previously known as the India International Convention and Expo Centre or IICC,  is a convention center in Sector 25, Dwarka, Delhi.The foundation stone for the project was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 20 September 2018. Construction began on the following day, and was expected to be completed by September 2022, in view of hosting the G20 Summit in 2023 there. However, due to labour shortage and slowdown in work caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, it got delayed. It was completed on 15 September 2023, and was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 17 September 2023.

The New Delhi airport is connected to a large number of domestic as well as international cities.

The New Delhi Airport has a total of two terminals handling domestic traffic. Terminal 1 is entirely dedicated to domestic flights with Terminal 1D for departures and Terminal 1C for arrivals. Taxi:  The airports are well connected with Pre Paid Government (Yellow and Black roof Top) and Private Taxi Services which are available 24/7.

 

Bus: Services are available from inter-state bus terminals in the city. The services are extended to all the northern states and the neighbouring areas of Delhi. Services are provided by state transport corporations and several private operators. The inter-state terminals in city are:

  • Kashmiri Gate ISBT in Northern Delhi
  • Anand Vihar ISBT in Trans-Yamuna area
  • Sarai Kale Khan ISBT in South-East Delhi

Delhi Metro: The Orange Line, also known as Airport Express Line, is the metro line that offers service from IGI Airport to city centre from 04:45 AM till 11:30 PM with a frequency of 15 minutes. The airport express operates between Dwarka Sector 21 and New Delhi Railway Station via IGI Airport Terminal 3, Aerocity, Dhaula Kuan, Shivaji Stadium (Connaught Place) & New Delhi Railway Station. If you need to go to Terminal 1, it is better to stop at Aerocity metro station and from there take the Metro Feeder Bus or the Airport shuttle bus.
